Counter-Strike: Source Beta Update

Es gibt ein neues Update für die CS:S Beta. Die Munition muss nun wieder gekauft werden. Mit dem Client-CVAR cl_autobuyammo kann man diese automatisch kaufen. Es gibt im Steam-Forum schon einige Gegenstimmen, eventuell wird das auch wieder abgeschafft. Ausserdem wurden einige Bugs auf de_inferno gefixed. Hoffentlich wird nich auch das Wallbanging eingeführt...


Counter-Strike Source Beta

# Added client ConVar cl_autobuyammo ( default 7 ) which determines how much ammo to attempt to buy with guns.

* 1-7: The ammo buttons in the Buy menu are hidden. ConCommands buyammo1 and buyammo2 are still active.
* 0: Ammo is not automatically purchased and the ammo buttons in the Buy menu are visible. They now buy single ammo boxes.

Es gab wieder ein kleines Update für CS:S und Co. Bei CS:S wurden ein paar Bugs bei der Smoke gefixed.

Fixed a case where servers would lock-up while writing .dmp files

Es gab ma wieder Updates für den Steam Clienten und CS:S. Bei CS:S wurden die neuen Smokes integriert und der Walkspeed wurde an 1.6 angepasst (*0.52).

Fixed hang when typing "map" twice in the console

* Fixed "one way" smoke

CS:S, TF2, DoD:S & CS:S Beta Updates

Die Tage gab es wieder ein paar Updates für CS:S & Co. In der Beta wird nach d2 nun de_inferno überarbeitet und auch sonst hat sich einiges getan. Neu ist z.b. der Befehl cl_legacy_crosshair. Das veränderte Bouncing Verhalten von Nades & Co wird aber wieder rückgängig gemacht. In der Beta wurde ausserdem der Walkspeed an 1.6 angepasst (*0.52).

Es gab ein Update für den Steam-Clienten. Der Browser und der Chat wurden mit Tabbs ausgestattet und auch sonst wurde wieder einiges überarbeitet

* Updated friends chats to use new tabbed chat interface (see Friends tab in the Settings dialog to turn off opening in new tabs by default)
* Updated in-game overlay browser to use new tabbed browsing interface (Use Middle click on links to open-in-new-tab)
* Tabbed Browser/Chat HotKeys: Ctrl-Tab and Ctrl-Shift-Tab to switch tabs. Ctrl-W, Ctrl-F4 or Middle click to close tabs.
* Updated WebKit code for client/in-game browser (improved stability and performance on OSX, various browser fixes)
* Windows: 64 bit build of the in-game overlay (useable now with any 64bit non-Steam game you may add)
* Windows: 64 bit builds of Steamworks DLLs (for upcoming titles)

CS:S, TF2 & DoD:S und CS:S Beta Updates

Kaum wurde die Beta freigegeben, gibt es schon das nächste Update für die Beta. Diese enthält wieder einige interessante Änderungen. Smokes sollen schneller aufgehen, der Rauch soll noch undurchsichtiger/dicker werden und man kann nich mehr so gut aus der Smoke gucken. Das clientseitige laden von Plugins wird auf Servern mit VAC ebenfalls unterbunden.

Der Rateforce wurde bei sv_competitive_minspec entfernt. Dafür werden jetz interp (0 bis 0.031)und cl_interp_ratio (1/2) geforced.

Es gab wieder ein kleines Beta-Update für CS:S. An den Waffensounds wurde nochma gearbeitet und die überarbeiteten de_dust und de_dust2 wurden hinzugefügt:

Leider hat sich gestern Nacht unser Gameserver verabschiedet. Aus der vermeintlich kleinen Störung stellte sich ein Totalschaden heraus sodas wir seit heute auf einem komplett neuen Server liegen und sich dadurch leider auch unsere IP geändert hat.

Der Server ist jetzt unter dieser IP zu erreichen:

93.190.68.102:40115

STVIP: 27021

Sonst ist alles beim alten geblieben. Sprich: PW, RconPW, Config ect....



CS:Source & Steam Client Beta Update

Die CS:S Beta wurde geupdatet. Die Performance wurde verbessert und auch sonst wurde einiges getan. Wenn alles glatt läuft, wird die Beta am Montag als Finale Version released.

Vom Steam-Clienten gibtz auch eine neue Beta. Auch hier wurde an der Performance geschraubt und Tabbed-Browsing implementiert

Counter-Strike: Source Beta

* Fixed a bug where some video configuration could get reset by restarting the engine.
* Fixed a case of uneven performance on multicore machines.
* Reduced overlap in sound timing code.
* Fixed a case where audio could skip.
* Fixed materials compiled into the map not being loaded correctly if they're in the root materials folder.
* Stats:
o Fixed an issue that could cause loss of player stats if network connectivity was lost briefly, just after launching the game.
o Fixed issue that caused the favorite weapon to display incorrectly on the stats summary page when a player achieves the most kills with a knife or grenade.
o Made newly-earned achievements and stats immediately update in the achievements and stats panels instead of showing stale data.
* Community Requests:
o Added console variable sv_competitive_minspec that enforces the following restrictions on the client:
+ r_drawdetailprops 1
+ r_staticprop_lod (-1 to 3)
+ fps_max minimum 60 (or 0)

Counter-Strike: Source Beta

Um die Community nich mit weiteren Bugs zu verärgern, wurde für Counter-Strike: Source wieder eine Beta eingeführt. Installieren könnt ihr diese über eure Steam-Games-Liste.

Starting today the Counter-Strike: Source Beta will be available to all PC Counter-Strike: Source players. As we continue to update CSS and address issues, we want to make sure to not destabilize the core game. By releasing updates to CSS Beta first, we will be able to solicit community feedback before those changes are applied to CSS.

If you would like to be part of the group that helps us test future updates of Counter-Strike Source, please join the Beta - simply install and launch "Counter-Strike: Source Beta" from your games list in Steam. To give feedback on the changes, report bugs, or offer suggestions, please use the CSS Beta forum. Don’t worry, you can join the Beta program and still play the standard Counter-Strike: Source at anytime. The Counter-Strike: Source Beta is currently not available on Mac.

Here are the change notes for today's CSS Beta release:

# Fixed prediction errors that were causing greater weapon inaccuracy (bullet spread) on client than server.
# Made the bomb the primary target of a USE command. This fixes a problem with objects placed around the bombsite interrupting defuse attempts.
# Fixed the ‘skating’ behavior that could occur when a bomb planting attempt was aborted. Also fixes the resulting out of sync hit boxes.
# Fixed bug in which a player who crouches rapidly and repeatedly was seen as stationery by other players.
# Fixed problem in which the sound of a reload that was occurring when a player was killed persisted into spectator mode, making it sound like a reload was taking place near the spectated player.

# Increased size of HUD icons.
